Florentin Pogba recently signed a two-year contract with ATK Mohun Bagan, says he wanted “a new challenge”. Before his contract with the Ligue 2 team, FC Sochaux-Montbéliard had expired the Guinean defender initiated a deal to play in the Hero ISL.
This summer transfer window will now witness the Pogba brothers in a set of new jerseys. As his younger brother, Paul Pogba re-signed a contract with his ex- football club, Juventus.
Florentin Pogba’s career till ATK Mohun Bagan FC
The Guinean International started his journey in Ligue 2, where he played for CS Sedan in 2010. After his contract ended with Sedan, he made an upgraded transfer to FC Saint-Étienne where he was in the squad till 2018.

After another transfer to MLS’ Atlanta United, the 31 year-old Florentin made his way back into the French Ligue 2. He joined FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, where he was given a crucial role and was in the playing XI.
In his journey for FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, Florentin Pogba played 2 seasons and 62 games and 2 BKT matches.
ATK Mohun Bagan FC’s signings this summer
In the midst of a historic summer transfer window, Erling Haaland, Paul Pogba, Frenkie De Jong have donned new jerseys. This is visible in the ISL as well, ATK Mohun Bagan sign Florentin Pogba. This will give a huge boost to their defense line.

Florentin’s ex-club in a statement unveils his future plans.
“Florentin Pogba leaves Sochaux-Montbeliard. One year from the end of his contract, the Guinean International wanted to discover a new championship and was transferred to ATK Mohun Bagan FC, which plays in the Indian championship.”
On the other hand, his brother, Paul Pogba has left Manchester United and will be returning to his Italian side of Juventus. This will be a free transfer and he will sign the contract in the initial days of July.
