FC Barcelona to sign both Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo on a permanent deal

During the 2024 summer transfer window, FC Barcelona signed two Portuguese players on a loan deal. One was Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid, and the second was Joao Cancelo from Manchester City.

Undoubtedly, it has proven to be the best loan deal in football history. Because both are star players and are contributing to match-winning performances. The Joao’s have scored goals for Barcelona, and a few have come out as golden goals.

It is the wish of every Barcelona fan that both players should stay with them in the upcoming seasons. Well, the wish is coming true, as their agents confirmed that Barcelona wants them to stay beyond this season.

Joao’s agent, Jorge Mendes, said:

“FC Barcelona is planning for both to stay at the club beyond this season; they want them.”

As we all know, the club is going through a financial crisis, and signing them is almost like going all out in the casino. But here we know the results because they are world-class players. They are proving themselves in every game for Barcelona.

Not just FC Barcelona but also Felix and Cancelo want to stay with the club. A few weeks back, Joao Cancelo said, “I have always been an FCB fan and would love to stay with them.” Similarly, Joao Felix said, “I wanted a change, and Barcelona is the perfect team.”

How much will the Joao’s cost FC Barcelona?

Signing Cancelo would cost them around €30 to €40 million. On the other hand, signing Felix will cost them around €60 to €80 million. But things may not be as simple as they look. Signing Cancelo for €30 million will surely steal the deal. Felix’s deal will be difficult.
