Euro 2024 Draw Hit by Hilarious Prank: BBC Broadcast Interrupted by Explicit Sounds

The Euro 2024 draw took place on 2 December 2024, 18:00 CET, at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg

The Euro 2024 draw took an unexpected turn as the BBC’s live coverage faced a cheeky interruption – explicit sex noises.

The draw, unfolding in Hamburg, was nearly complete when viewers met with sounds akin to sexual moaning.

Awkward looks and smirks spread through the crowd as Manchester City legend David Silva and Danish football icon Brian Laudrup tried to maintain their composure. Despite the disruption, the duo continued drawing the teams.

The amusing incident occurred just after Switzerland was drawn into the same group as Scotland, Hungary, and hosts Germany.

There is some noise here… that has now stopped,” Giorgio Marchetti, the Draw Host announced amid the prank.

Social media quickly erupted with a mix of confusion and laughter from those who tuned in. Viewers took to platforms like X to share their reactions. People hailed the mysterious noisemaker as a “legend” for playing the sex noises.

The prankster responsible for the uproar has since been identified as social media personality Daniel Jarvis, known as ‘Jarvo69.’ He proudly claimed credit for the stunt in a live social media stream.

This incident isn’t the first time Jarvis has pulled off such pranks. In January of the same year, he orchestrated a near-identical interruption during Liverpool’s FA Cup clash against Wolves. Similar to today, it drew humorous responses.

As the dust settled on the prank, England was matched with Slovenia in Group C.

The Euro 2024 draw showcased a mix of traditional football anticipation and unexpected comedy, proving that in the world of sports, surprises can come from the most unexpected places.
