Goalkeeper:
Gurpreet Singh Sandhu – The Indian national team’s No. 1 comes in at first place, having registered 29 clean-sheets in 77 matches across all competitions. Gurpreet held his ground against Bangladesh in the World Cup Qualifiers. Mention must be made for clean-sheets against Sri Lanka and Nepal, which led India to their eighth SAFF Championship title. He averages a ratio of 0.38 which is the best among others.
Defenders:
Dylan Fox – The dependable Australian center-back who has received praise for his steady performances with Northeast United FC. Previously, in the summer transfer window of 2021, he joined FC Goa. The Gaurs paid the Highlanders around Rs. 30 lakhs to obtain the 27-year-services. old’s Dylan Fox is a terrific game reader with exceptional ball-handling skills. He intends to make FC Goa his permanent home. With outstanding players on his team, he should be able to get started as quickly as possible.
Sandesh Jhingan – He won the ISL Emerging Player of the Season title for the first time. The center-back was a relatively unknown youngster at the time, but he wowed everyone with his outstanding performances for the Kochi-based club. Jhingan spent time on loan with Sporting Clube de Goa, DSK Shivajians, and Bengaluru FC, among others. Prior to the 2020-21 season, he made a permanent move to ATK Mohun Bagan. The defender is also the Indian national team’s first-choice defensive option.
Hector Rodas – Odisha FC, like Kerala Blasters FC, had a defensive line-up that was one of the most vulnerable in the previous season. Due to the absence of quality Indian defensive midfielders at SC East Bengal, he will be crucial to Manolo Diaz’s side’s hopes in the coming season.
Hugo Boumous – Without a doubt, one of the top international players currently playing in the Indian Super League. In the 2020-21 season, Mumbai City FC’s Hugo Boumous was a fan favorite. While playing a key role in Mumbai City’s victory, he only scored two goals and assisted nine others. In India, his greatest season came with FC Goa under Sergio Lobera in the 2018-19 season, when he scored 11 goals and added 10 assists. He was a key player for the Gaurs, helping them to the top of the league table. Forwards:
Greg Stewart – In the ISL 2021-22, the 31-year-old was the orchestrator for Jamshedpur FC. He has five goals in eight outings and is on the verge of becoming the season’s leading scorer. In the same period, he has aided four times. He has taken 22 shots and delivered 23 crosses this season.
Bartholomew Ogbeche – When it comes to Bart Ogbeche, age is simply a number.
