“Captain America”, Reece James on his Chelsea teammate Christian Pulisic for his performance against Iran

Doha: Reece James, a Chelsea teammate of Christian Pulisic took to Instagram to congratulate his friend on his mighty display. The 24-year Christian Pulisic scored the winning goal for the Americans and enabled their R16 Qualification.

Reece James’ comment on Pulisic’s post

Reece James commented “Captain America” on Pulisic’s post after the match. The comment section was filled with appreciative messages from many individuals. Jack Harlow, a famous singer dropped a photo dump with Pulisic in the first picture.

Pulisic scored the winning goal in the 38th minute. McKennie passed a good ball to Sergino Dest who headed in Pulisic’s way. The captain of the US Men’s National Team shot it past the Iran goalkeeper although he collided and badly. The 24-year-old crashed with Alireza Beiranvand. The medical team removed the US Captain from the field immediately. Pulisic underwent examination as a precaution, later diagnosed with a pelvic contusion.

Gregg Berhalter said that Pulisic felt dizziness due to an abdominal blow. He added that the US Cap was full of spirits when they face-timed him. Weston McKennie said that he received a message from Pulisic, “Best believe I’ll be ready on Saturday”

The 24-year-old captain has risen as the poster boy for soccer in the USA. The sport is very much behind baseball or football or basketball and even hockey. The entrance of the USA in the knockouts surely is going to boost the sport and its participation in America.
