The XERXIA has announced the release of VALORANT players Thanamethk “Crws” Mahatthananuyut, Panyawat “sushiboys” Subsiriroj, Itthirit “foxz” Ngamsaard, coach Yuttanagorn “Zeus” Kaewkongyai, and manager Jirawat “HeadHawk” Kalumpanun. The news that XERXIA and the team are splitting up comes more than a month after they finished in the top 16 at VALORANT Champions and exactly one month after XERXIA was excluded from VALORANT’s partnership programme. Nutchaphon “sScary” Matarat had already left XERXIA to join Bleed eSports, but the rest of the team’s fate was unknown. Because the organization did not mention Thanachart “Surf” Rungapajaratkul in their announcement, it is unclear whether he will remain on XERXIA.

Everyone who left the team had been with XERXIA since January 2022. Crws, sushiboys, foxz, and Zeus joined the Thai organization after their contracts with X10 CRIT expired in the same month. In addition to playing at Champions, they all attended all three international VALORANT events this year under XERXIA, finishing top 10 at VCT Masters One Reykjavik in April and top 12 at VCT Masters Two Copenhagen in July.

According to ONE Esports, Crws, Sushiboys, and Foxz are rumored to be joining Talon Esports. Talon Esports is one of the organizations that has secured a spot in the VCT 2024 Pacific league and is also rumored to be bringing back VALORANT star Patiphan Chaiwong. Patiphan was a member of the former XERXIA trio on X10 Crit before retiring to return to Overwatch in 2022.

XERXIA’s future in professional VALORANT is currently unknown.
