The much-awaited IPL 2022 is going to start from 26th March. This year IPL is going to be more interesting as there are 10 teams playing this season, instead of 8. Further, the format of the tournament is also interesting. As we all know IPL auction took place on 12th Feb, this year and every team tried to make their squad as best as they can do. Regarding auction, CSK coach Stephen Fleming finally speaks up about the team’s best cheap pics.
When asked about the auction, CSK coach Stephen Fleming admitted that they failed to get back a few players including Faf DU Plessis and Shardul Thakur in their squad but they are happy with the result at the end. Also, he highlighted that the team got some new talent which came very cheap into the squad
“We are really happy it went according to plan. We lost a couple of players which we are a bit sad about but we have gained some real talent. We’ve got, this year, some good blend of experience and youth. So we’re really excited about the way the auction went down,”

“Well they came cheap so it was good. They are all very skilful players. Devon Conway has had a great couple of years internationally. Mitch has been a stalwart for us. And in Adam Milne we have got a bit of pace. So all three of them have great credentials and a good skill set for us,”
He said
CSK bought Conway for INR 1 crore, Milne for INR 1.9 crore, and Santner for INR 1.9 crore.

MS Dhoni-led CSK is the winner of four titles in tournament history. Also, they are the champion of the 2021 season. Moreover, this year, the team has new talent and with new players, they will try to defend their title once again. They have achieved this feat in 2011 and Everybody is excited to watch that could CSK be able to repeat history once again after 11 years.
The defending champion CSK will take on KKR in the inaugural match of the 15th season of IPL on the 26th of March.
