The inning of 257/5 by the Lucknow Super Giants against the Punjab Kings is the second-highest total in IPL history. Credit goes not only to one or two players but to the entire LSG batting unit.

First, it was Kyle Mayers who scored 54 runs off 24 balls. Then came Ayush Badoni with 43 runs, Stoinis with 72 runs, and Pooran with 45 runs off 19 balls. Not forgetting the small contribution by Kl Rahul, Deepak Hooda, and Krunal Pandya.

They collectively not only registered their highest total but the second most in IPL history.

2. 213/9 against the Royal Challengers Bangalore

Though the inning above-mentioned is their best in terms of runs, this will always stay at the top of the history books. The reason is that the Lucknow Super Giants chased this mammoth total of 213 runs at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Bangalore was put to the test first by Lucknow, and the Bangalore boys smashed runs all around the park. Kohli, du Plessis, and Maxwell, aka KGF, scored 61, 79, and 59 runs, respectively. They gave Lucknow a target of 213 runs, which wasn’t easy.

When Lucknow came to bat, they lost their top order inside the powerplay. Then arrived Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran, who smoked every Bangalore bowler. Stoinis scored 65 runs in 30 balls, and Pooran scored 62 in 19 balls.

3. 211/4 against the Chennai Super Kings
