India becomes the no.1 ODI team after winning the series against New Zealand

Earlier, New Zealand lost ground to Team India by 8 wickets in the second game of the three-match series at Raipur, dropping the Black Caps to No. 2 in the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings. The Indian Cricket Team has surpassed England to become the top-ranked ODI team. India, a two-time champion, has 5,010 points after 44 games. With 3,400 points after 30 ODI games, world champions England are in second place.

According to the most recent ICC Team Rankings, New Zealand is now ranked fourth, with former world champions Australia coming in third with 3,572 points (112 rating points). The ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings place India at the top with 114 rating points, while England is ranked second with 113 rating points. The Three Lions will replace The Indian Cricket Team as the top team in the Men’s ODI rankings if England defeats South Africa 3-0 in their upcoming ODI series.
