Jason Holder is the former captain of the West Indies cricket team and is currently a player playing for Rajasthan Royals. In the 2013 IPL auction, Holder was signed by the Chennai Super Kings at his base price, but he only appeared in 6 games. He was acquired by Sunrisers in 2014, and the team promoted him to batting in addition. The Kolkata Knight Riders bought him in the 2016 year auction. In all four of those games, Holder played, he scored 22 runs at 5.50 and claimed two wickets at 51.50.
He replaced Mitchell Marsh, who was injured, at Sunrisers Hyderabad for the 2020 IPL season. Holder was purchased for $8.75 crores by the Lucknow SuperGiants in the 2022 IPL Auction.

This is Jason Holder’s 6th season in the IPL after making his debut in 2013. He has played for a handful of franchises including Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow SuperGiants. Apart from IPL, he has also played in the Caribbean Premier League.
