Vegas Golden Knights Jonathan Quick overcame John Vanbiesbrouck’s 374 career wins to become second in most career wins among the US-born goaltenders in NHL History. Quick recorded this feat during Vegas’ victory against Canucks. Quick made 31 saves in the game.

37-year-old Quick hails from Milford, a coastal city in Connecticut. Quick started his NHL career with Los Angeles Kings, playing his first game on December 6, 2007. Since then, He played 15 seasons with the Kings. He played 743 regular season games with the team, winning 370 with them. Quick was also part of two Stanley Cup runs with the team.
The Los Angeles Kings traded Quick to Columbus Blue Jackets for defenseman Vladislav Gavrikov and Joonas Korpisalo. Blue Jackets, after two days, traded Quick to Vegas for Mitchell Hutchinson and a 2025 NHL Draft seventh-round pick.
Quick has played six games so far with the Golden Knights. He has won 5 matches out of the six, even roped in a shut-out in one. Quick has been staggeringly beautiful in his new outfit making 174 saves so far.
The record for most career wins among US-born goaltenders is 391 wins recorded by Ryan Miller. Ryan Miller started his career at Buffalo Sabres and played for three other teams – Blues, Canucks, and Ducks. The 2010 Vezina Trophy winner retired at the end of the 2020-21 season.
John Vanbiebrousk played from 1981 to 2002 for five different teams. Rangers and Panthers were the best times of his career. Vanbiebrousk was the most winningest-American-Born Goaltender for a very long time until Miller surpassed it in 2019. Tom Barasso (369 wins), and Craig Anderson (318 wins) are fourth and fifth respectively on the list
