Nikola Jokic brought his A-game against their divisional opponents, Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers, who had won two straight games. Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets to a 73-67 lead at the break. Porter scored 13 points in the first half and Murray added 11, while Jokic scored 21 points on 8-of-8 shooting.

Five Denver players scored in double figures, including the Serb (23 points), Jamal Murray (17 points), Michael Porter Jr.

Aaron Gordon contributed 11, while Bruce Brown scored 12 points off the bench.
