Nuggets stop Lakers 5 Game Winning Streak, Jamal Murray, scored the highest points in the match

The Denver Nuggets defeated the under-manned Los Angeles Lakers 122-109 to end their five-game winning streak. The Nuggets went into the fourth quarter with a 15-point lead. Denver led 99-79 after Hyland’s 3-pointer to start the last frame and Murray’s fast-break layup. Bryant’s three-point shot brought Los Angeles within 106-93, but they never really threatened. For Denver, which has won 11 straight home games, Jamal Murray scored a season-high 34 points, and Nikola Jokic recorded his 11th triple-double of the year in addition to 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 16 assists. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope finished with 16 points, Bruce Brown added 15, Bones Hyland and Michael Porter Jr. both chipped in 12 points, and Aaron Gordon finished with 9 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks.

The Lakers’ five-game-winning run came to an end as a result of Russell Westbrook’s 25 points, Thomas Bryant’s 17 points and 10 rebounds, Kendrick Nunn’s 15 points, Max Christie’s 14 points, and Dennis Schroder’s 14 points.
