Surrey Police on Raheem Sterling Burglary at his home
Following the break the night before, Sterling did not participate in Sunday’s victory over Senegal in the round of 16. The theft of jewellery and watches occurred without anyone being home, according to the Surrey Police. The police stated, “We are investigating a report of a burglary at an address in Oxshott, Leatherhead.”
“The people of the building discovered they had taken several valuables when they returned home, including jewels and watches. The investigation is currently ongoing, and inquiries are being made to learn more about the situation. There was no worry about violence because they discovered they had stolen the items after the fact.” Earlier reports said armed men had invaded a property occupied and threatened violence, but this statement indicates that was not the scenario.
