India vs England 3rd ODI: India ended the three-match ODI series against England with a 3-0 victory to bid Indian fast bowler Jhulan Goswami a memorable farewell. Indian batters failed to put up a strong target. However, Smriti Mandhana and Deepti Sharma’s half-centuries helped Woman in Blue set up a decent total of 169. Moreover, Renuka Thakur’s magnificent 4-wicket haul helped India all out Amy Jones’ team at 153.
The game saw several historical events taking place at the historical ground of the Lord’s. Jhulan Goswami’s retirement as well as Deepti Sharma’s ‘mandak’ to run out set batter and dangerous looking Charlie Dean, to finish off the English innings.

Kate Cross’ 4/26 went in vain as English batters failed to achieve a meager target. Charlie Dean with her 47 off 80 balls became the highest run-getter for her team. Captain Amy Jones only managed to score 28 off 50.
