Valorant Champions 2022 is going to start later this month. It is the culmination of all of the exciting international competitions that fans have witnessed throughout the year. One of the teams will be crowned the best Valorant team in the world. Besides, it may be the last time fans see some of their favorite teams in international competition until 2024.
The VCT Champions 2022 begins on Wednesday, Aug, 31, and the grand final will be held on Sunday, Sept, 18. All the teams will first compete in group stages where they will have to be among the top two teams to move into the playoffs bracket. Those teams who come out of group stages victorious will be seeded higher and start later on in the playoff bracket.
There are four groups and each group has four teams in it. The two winners of their first match will move on to compete in the winner’s match, and the two losers will play in the elimination match. Whoever wins the winner’s match will go straight into the top seed of the playoff bracket from their group. However, the loser of the winner’s match moves on to the decider match. The team that wins the elimination match will have to win the decider match so well to move on to the playoff bracket, and the loser of those matches will be eliminated from the competition.
