Former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has selected his IPL Indian Uncapped XI. He made this team from the performances of Indian uncapped players in the 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022).
Sunil Gavaskar selected this team while talking to Youtube Sports Channel, Sports Tak. He has selected Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Tripathi as the opening pair in this team. At the same time, Tilak Verma, the brilliant batsman of the middle order of Mumbai Indians, has been placed in third place. Gavaskar has placed RCB batsmen Rajat Patidar and Mahipal Lamor in his team at the fourth and fifth positions respectively. Apart from these, he has included Punjab Kings player Jitesh Sharma as a wicket-keeper batsman in the team.

The former right-handed batsman has included Shahbaz Ahmed of Royal Challengers Bangalore and Murugan Ashwin of Mumbai Indians as spinners in his team. Gavaskar has allowed Umran Malik, Mohsin Khan, and Mukesh Chaudhary as fast bowlers in this team.
