Similarly, the 2024 Australian Open witnessed one of the major upsets in history. The world no. 1 player, Iga Swiatek, lost against Linda Noskova, who ranks 50th in the WTA rankings.
Noskova defeated Swiatek 3-6, 6-3, and 6-4 in the third round of the 2024 Australian Open. This was undoubtedly the biggest and toughest match of her career, and she passed with flying colors.
