The Grizzlies outscored the warriors’ defense

Steph Curry, Jordan Poole, Donte DiVincenzo, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green were the starters for the Warriors under Steve Kerr’s small-ball strategy against the Grizzlies. However, the Grizzlies started strong and took the lead early in regulation, 21-8.

Curry had 29 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and a +2 plus/minus in the final scoring statistics. Green scored 16 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, had 7 assists, and had 3 steals but also made 5 mistakes.

Poole had a game-worst plus/minus of -33 despite having scored 22 points on 10 field goal attempts, while Thompson was only 6-for-14 from the field with 14 points.

With 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists on 6-for-13 shooting from the field, Jaren Jackson led the way for Memphis. 22 points and Desmond Bane added 11 assists from Tyus Jones.
