Having won the last match fair and square, the Heats were confident of picking up yet another victory but the Celtics have replied magnificently well to level the tie 1-1 with a breathtaking performance last night.

After the first match where both the teams have looked evenly matched coming into Game-2, the second game seemed no different as the match ended in favour of the Celtics who made one hell of a performance and brought themselves back into the tie. The match was quiet tense for the fans of both parties but as a neutral fan, the game was nothing less than a roller-coaster ride. The first two quarters went in favour of the Celtics having being ahead 45-70 at the end of second quarter, the Heats left it late at the night and brought their form in the last two quarters but the deficit inflicted by the Celtics in the first two quarters was also too much to comeback from and the Celtics won the the game 102-127. Despite the brilliance of Jimmy Butler, who displayed yet another brilliant performance but ended on the losing side. The Heats players looked dejected at the end of the match as the defeat was too hard to swallow having had the best of their opposition in the first match.

The match was pretty much in for the Celtics right from the start of the match but the brilliance of Heats’ players in the last two quarters was a bit to worry about but the Celtics managed their instincts well and ended the game with a major win. The Celtics came back bravely after losing the last match and Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart and Jason Tatum put everything into the match having combining for total 75 points and saved the tie for their side.

Erik Spoelstra’s men will be disappointed and dejected after such a cruel defeat last night having the last match in their hands just to away the lead last night. Heats’ star Jimmy Butler yet again did what he does best and that is score freely as he picked up 29 points but even his brilliant performance was not enough to ensure his team a victory. Bam Adebayo had a bad game and looked absolutely clueless throughout the entire match as the Celtics’ forwards took the game away from them.

The match was nothing but a roller-coaster ride for the Celtics’ fans as they witnessed their team go through a brilliant performance with taking a major lead in the first two quarters to allowing the Heats to come back into the game in the last phases of the match but got the job done at the end of the night. After the first match no one believed that the second game could end on the side of the Celtics but it was the brilliance of Jason Tatum, Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown who combined to steal the match away from the Heats.

Jimmy Butler has been in a breathtaking form all season long and yesterday was no different as he notched up 29 points, with 6 rebounds and 3 assists but all went in vain as his teammates couldn’t provide him with proper support he needed throughout the match.

Jason Tatum:

Jason Tatum was simply unstoppable in the game picking up a total of 27 points with 5 rebounds and 5 assists ensuring his team a vital win.

Marcus Smart:

Having missed the first game due to injury, everyone had a lot of hopes on Marcus Smart and he proved his worth intensively well with a brilliant performance picking up 24 points with 9 rebounds and 12 assists last night.
