The match was pretty much one sided from the very first minute of the match as the Heats dismantled the Celtics completely throughout the entire match. The Heats took a lead of 93-76 at the end of third half and the Celtics never really came back into the match and in the end suffered a defeat in the very first game with 11 points. Jason Tatum put everything into the match and was the best Celtics’ player on the court having picked up 29 points and Jaylen Brown again had a great match but couldn’t save the match for his team.

The Heats on the other hand were considered the favourites going in into this match who just brushed aside the Philadelphia 76ers with a 4-2 victory in the last round and got the job done quite easily wrapping the night with a 118-107 victory over the distraught Celtics. It was a combined and brilliant team performance by the Heats as nearly all of their players got on the score sheet with every player registering double figure points. Jimmy Butler pulled 41 points and also supplied with 9 assists and 5 rebounds. Tyler Herro and Gabe Vincent also had a great game with both scoring 18 and 17 points respectively.

Gabe Vincent continued to pose trouble for the Celtics’ defenders throughout the match.
