Soon after the 2024 F1 season, Toto Wolff said something that made every F1 team wonder. Wolff said, “We have a different chassis, aerodynamics, characteristics, suspension, and everything that we can change, we change,” on the Mercedes W15.
This statement by Toto Wolff made every Mercedes and F1 fan eager to see how the car would be. The wait is now over because some promising statements were made by Wolff.
Here is the statement on Mercedes W15:
“Anthony Davison was driving Melbourne in the sim, and the car felt like a car for the first time in two years!”

The Mercedes F1 Team’s performance in the past two seasons
The past couple of seasons have been quite average for Mercedes. Even though they finished second and third in the constructor’s championship in two seasons, things have not been good for them. They have only won one Grand Prix, and that was by George Russell.
On the other hand, Lewis Hamilton had his worst finish (6th) in his F1 career and hasn’t won a single Grand Prix. Undoubtedly, the team has struggled, and only a championship car can fix their problem. The Mercedes W15 is their only hope.
Can the Mercedes F1 Team lift the 2024 drivers’ and constructors’ championships? Only time will let us know. Till then, let us look at their performance since 2013.
