From 2014 to 2020 and nearly the 2021 season, we saw Mercedes win every championship of the season. Thanks to their racing driver, Lewis Hamilton, who helped them win seven constructors’ championships and six drivers’ championships.
But after the 2021 season, Hamilton hasn’t won a single Grand Prix and has struggled to finish on the podium. Well, McLaren F1 team CEO Zak Brown believes he will bounce back and win his eighth F1 championship.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if we were sitting here and all of a sudden Mercedes was back to Lewis winning his eighth championship.”
Not just Zak Brown, but even Nico Rosberg believes,
“I believe Mercedes and Hamilton could once again fight for the championship.”
Mercedes has struggled significantly in the past two seasons. The team has collectively won only one Grand Prix and has only 24 podium finishes. Moreover, the only win they have comes from George Russell. But we know how strong Mercedes is, and surely they will bounce back.
Just after the 2024 season, Toto Wolff talked about revamping the car, and things might turn in their favor. If things work out well, we might see Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes fight for the championship.
