Teams with the Most NBA Championships
Both the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics have won 17 NBA championships each, which is the joint-most NBA championships. The Los Angeles Lakers have won 17 titles out of their 32 final appearances, whereas the Boston Celtics have won 17 titles out of their 22 final appearances. In third place, we have the Golden State Warriors, with a total of seven NBA championships. Followed by the Chicago Bulls with six titles and the San Antonio Spurs with five titles.
Teams like the Philadelphia 76ers, Detroit Pistons, and Miami Heat have won three titles each. Three more teams have won the NBA championship two times, i.e., the New York Knicks, Houston Rockets, and Milwaukee Bucks.
Apart from the above team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Atlanta Hawks, Washington Wizards, Oklahoma City Thunders, Portland Trail Blazers, Dallas Mavericks, Baltimore Bullets, Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors, and Denver Nuggets have won one time each.
