Golden State Warriors defeat Phoenix Suns to win their 8th consecutiveĀ atĀ home

Following the victory, the Warriors raise their season record to 36-30

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Phoenix Suns 123-112 to extend their winning streak at Chase Center to eight games.

In the first half, Klay Thompson led the way with 33 of his 38 points, while Stephen Curry chipped in with 23 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

Phoenix made two comebacks from deficits of up to 25 points, pulling it to just ten points in the fourth quarter before Thompson, Curry, and Jordan Poole sealed the deal.

DeAndre Ayton concluded the game with a solid double-double of 27 points and 12 rebounds, while Devin Booker led the Suns with 32 points on the night.

Kevin Durant missed his third straight game for the Suns due to a sprained left ankle. This time, he missed playing against his former team in front of spectators in San Francisco.

The Warriors defeated The Suns with a convincing victory.

For the reigning champions, Jordan Poole contributed 20 points and six assists off the bench. With nine points, 10 rebounds, and five assists, Kevon Looney helped the Warriors win their eighth straight home game and their 12th in a row. Golden State is 7-26 away from home yet 29-7 at home.

Before Stephen Curry and company came on again, Josh Okogie’s 3-pointer with 4:59 left in the third period got Phoenix within 85-81 and his putback a minute later made it 87-84.

Chris Paul scored 11 points and dished out 11 assists to help Phoenix bounce back from a 128-119 home loss to division-leading Sacramento on Saturday, which ended a four-game winning streak.

The Suns had a chance to sweep all four games for the first time since 2010ā€“11, having previously defeated Golden State Warriors in their previous four meetings, including three straight in the season series.
