Wayne Rooney returns to English football as Birmingham City Manager

The legendary football player Wayne Rooney is all set to return to English football with Birmingham City, but as a manager. He was recently released by the Major League Soccer Club, DC United, as the team failed to qualify for the playoffs.

He has three years of experience as a manager and has managed two different teams. Derby County was the first team that he managed for a couple of years, and in 2022, he joined DC United. Both clubs that he has managed have performed quite averagely under his management. Well, now he is going to manage a big team, and a lot of eyes are going to be on him.

There are rumors that he will be with Birmingham City for at least two years, and looking at the team’s performance under his guidance, they may extend his contract.
