Tottenham Hotspur has announced the departure of their interim manager Cristian Stellini, the decision came after an embarassing 1-6 defeat to Newcastle at St James Park. Cristian Stellini was a member of Antonio Conte’s coaching staff, he took over the responsibility as interim boss after his fellow Italian was sacked in the end of march.
In Conte’s absence Stellini managed to beat the likes of Manchester City, West Ham and Chelsea but when given the responsibilty he’s failed to replicate his accomplishments guiding Tottenham to only one win in four games. A string of dissapointing results has seen the London based club marginally drop out of the top-four race jeopardizing their chance of playing Champions League football next season. In his first stint Ryan Mason guided spurs to four wins out of six games.
