The F1 Madrid Grand Prix is all set to be part of the F1 2026 season calendar

Formula 1 is the pinnacle of motorsports and is growing as fast as their F1 cars. As of now, a total of 24 grand prix will take place in the 2024 season calendar, and by the end of the 2026 season, the number is expected to go above 25. Recently, as per our latest sources, the F1 Madrid Grand Prix is all set to be a part of the 2026 season calendar.

Yes, Madrid is all set to host a Formula 1 Grand Prix, and it is going to be a street circuit. This is also the second circuit in Spain after the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit. If the Madrid Grand Prix is included in the F1 calendar, this is going to be the 9th Street circuit in the calendar. Even if we take a look at the current driver line-up, there are two Spanish drivers, Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz. They would love to race in their country not once but twice.

Currently, the United States and Italy are the only countries that are hosting two or more grand prix. With the inclusion of the Madrid Grand Prix, Spain is expected to host two races in a season.
