Erik ten hag is unhappy with the schedule as Marcus Rashford picks up another injury.

Manchester United produced an emphatic performance on Saturday evening securing 2-0 win over Everton at Old Trafford.

United’s latest win has tightened their grip of securing a top -4 finish in the Premier League this season. Erik ten hag’s men are unbeaten at Old Trafford since September and the record never seemed to be in threat against Everton.

Scott McTominay scored the opener in the 36th minute as the first-half ended in 1-0, but it was much more than just the statistics. In the opening stages of the second half the Toffees were able to slow down the one way United traffic and due to narrowness of the deficit they hoped to come back in the game. Erik ten hag replaced Antony with Martial at the hour mark, the Frenchmen scored the winner for the host in the 71st minute capitalising on Coleman’s mistake allowing Rashford to slide the ball under his feet to assist Martial.

Dyche with his off the ball set of pressing as 4-4-2 never worked out which ETH capitalised on with Sabitzer and McTominay as no 8s and Bruno at no 6, forces Gueye to leave Bruno in space or move from pivot to press Bruno and leave Sabitzer in space.

Following the win Manchester United has a firm hold to finish in top -4, but the win was marred by Marcus Rashford’s injury. The United no 10 was subbed off in the second half after suffering a groin injury, the Red Devils will be hoping for his quick return as they face Sevilla in a quarter final clash of Europa League next week.

Erik ten Hag blamed Manchester United’s hectic schedule for Marcus Rashford’s apparent groin injury that he sustained in their 2-0 Premier League win against Everton. Rashford appeared to clutch his groin after he attempted to control a lofted pass from Christian Eriksen, he was forced off in the 81st minute.
