It is the dream of every F1 racer to win the world championship, but everyone hasn’t achieved their dream. Well, some drivers have won the championship not once or twice but multiple times. Drivers like Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Alain Prost, and many more have won the title more than four times.

To be honest, if we go by statistics, Lewis Hamilton is one of the best drivers in the world. He has won seven F1 championships, which is the joint most with Michael Schumacher. He has not just won seven world titles, but 100+ wins, 197 podium finishes, 100+ pole positions, and several more records. As a result, Hamilton may be recognized as one of the best drivers in the world, not the best.
The reason is that he has also won the championship in a dominant car. Whereas, when they have had a less competitive car, he has struggled a lot. If we look at the past couple of seasons (2022 and 2024), he hasn’t won a single race. On the other hand, during the 2022 season, his partner George Russell surpassed him in the driver’s standing and has even performed better in the 2024 season.
Regarding the statement, whether he is the best driver in the world might be a debatable topic. But if Hamilton wins the 2024 season against the mighty Red Bull, the debate will surely end.
