It is official! Rafael Nadal announces his comeback

Over the past couple of months, there have been several questions about when Rafael Nadal will make his comeback. Well, the wait is finally over. Nadal has confirmed that he will be playing ATP Brisbane. His last tour was the 2024 Australian Open, and almost a year later, he will be back on the court.

Rafael Nadal got his much-needed break from tennis and is hungry to win multiple titles. A few months before, in September, he had said,

“My dream is to play again, to be competitive again, not to win at Roland-Garros or in Australia. At this time in my life, I am very far away.”

He had even said that he wants to play in the 2024 Olympics, and his goal is to win the golden medal. Well, now he is back and is all set to script one of the greatest comebacks in tennis history.

To date, he has won 22 Grand Slam championships and has at least four Grand Slam tournaments before he retires. Can he add one more grand slam title to his trophy cabinet? Only time will let us know. Till then, let’s take a quick look at his tennis career so far.
