The English footballer Eddie Nketiah signs a new deal with Arsenal and confesses his love for the club. He hasn’t been a part of the club since 2017 and has made over 100 appearances for them. He was loaned to Leeds United during the 2019–20 season. Apart from that, he has always been a part of Arsenal.
Eddie Nketiah recently signed an extension contract with the club. Later in an interview, he said,
“I love this club since I was a kid.”
Nketiah further mentioned, “I have been an Arsenal fan all my life, and that played a big part in my decision.” I want to learn, develop, and improve. I have talked with the manager (Mikel Arteta), and the future plans for the club are amazing.
So far, in the 2023–24 season, he hasn’t missed a single game in the Premier League and has scored two goals. Moreover, on October 20, 2023, he made his international debut against Australia in a friendly match. He wasn’t part of the starting XI but was later substituted in the 73rd minute.
He is just 24 years old and has a long way to go in football. If we look at him and his teammates, he needs to learn and improve a lot. Well, Mikel Arteta is one of the best managers in Liverpool, and he will help Nketiah improve a lot. As we can see, he has progressed a lot this season and has played a great role in Arsenal’s undefeated streak in the Premier League.
