“I had the best 6 months of my career with Barcelona,” says Aubameyang

After the exit of Lionel Messi, FC Barcelona needed a great striker in their squad. The club tried several players at the striker position, and in 2022, they got Aubameyang from Arsenal. Well, the deal turned out to be one of the best deals for Barcelona. They rarely lost a match when he was a part of the playing 11, and he was the star of the team on multiple occasions.

Sadly, he was later signed by Chelsea and is currently a part of Marseille. Well, in an interview, he was asked about his journey with Barcelona, and he replied,

Aubameyang said,

“I had the best 6 months of my career with Barcelona.”

Here is the full statement: “Barcelona? I think I had the best 6 months of my career with Barcelona. I have never enjoyed playing and going to training so much.”

To be honest, Barcelona felt complete when they had Aubameyang in the squad. Even if we look at their squad now, they have missed out on scoring goals on several occasions. If he were a part of the club, things would have been better for himself and the club.

Aubameyang’s performance with Barcelona has been magical. He made a total of 25 appearances for the club and scored 14 goals with an assist. Most importantly, he played a major role in Barcelona winning the 2022–23 La Liga.
