The Mercedes driver, George Russell, and the McLaren driver, Lando Norris, will be starting their 100th race at the 2024 Austin Grand Prix. Both made their Formula 1 debut together and will be achieving this milestone together.
They made their F1 debut together in the 2019 Australian Grand Prix. Russell was a part of the Williams-Mercedes team, whereas Norris began his F1 journey with McLaren. Sadly, they both ended up outside the points. During that Grand Prix, Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas won the race, and after three seasons, Russell replaced him on the team.
When it comes to the current season, George Russell and Lando Norris are standing 8th and 7th in the 2024 F1 standings, respectively. Both drivers are having a good season so far and are aiming to score more points for the constructors.
