“185 pounds would look good on me!” Michael Chandler on the Conor McGregor fight announcement

In the past few weeks, McGregor’s comeback to the UFC has taken over the MMA universe. McGregor had announced he would be back in the UFC ring and was on his way to make the year’s biggest comeback. But who is he fighting? On New Year’s Eve, McGregor announced that he would be fighting against Michael Chandler on June 29, 2024.

Conor McGregor said,

“I would like to announce the greatest comeback of all time will take place in Las Vegas for International Fight Week on June 29th. The opponent will be Michael Chandler, and the weight will be 185 pounds.”

Looking at their fight announcement, Chandler was quick to reply and said,

“I always said I wanted you at your biggest, baddest, and best. 185 pounds would look good on me.”

We are just six months away from one of the biggest rivalries. Both fighters eagerly wanted to face each other, but it never happened. Now, on June 29th, during International Fight Week, they will finally get to take on each other.
