Major League Baseball is one of the major professional sports leagues in America. Currently, in the league, a total of 30 teams divided into two equal conferences compete against each other to win the title. To make it into the MLB Draft, there are certain rules and regulations. Well, things are easier for the teams than for the players. Teams can draft players from both high school and college. However, high school students can remove their names from the draft if they do not wish to be selected.
- But when it comes to players, things are a bit difficult.
- The player must be 17 years old before being selected for the draft.
- A total of 300 best players only make it into the draft.
- Can be a high school player or a college player.
- Graduates from high school in the US, Canada, and US Territories are eligible for the draft if they have not enrolled in college.

If college students
- Anyone who is enrolled in a community college or junior college
- Must complete 3 years of college, and if they drop out, they have to wait till they turn 21.
Apart from that, no other players can be eligible for the MLB draft.
