Why Gerard Pique and Shakira Separated?
Many speculations were erupted about Pique’s and Shakira’s separation. On 4 June 2022, they announced it officially through their PR agency to the public.
“We regret to confirm that we are separating. For the wellbeing of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy,” reads the statement.
There were several reports which claimed that Shakira caught Pique “red-handed” on cheating her with another woman. But the duo has not confirmed the rumor yet.
The Columbian singer has faced a trial on Tax fraud charges last week, after the dismissal of her appeals by the Spanish court. The prosecutors accuse her for not paying 4.5 million euros in tax on income. We can say that the pop star is going through a difficult time.
