Jude Bellingham, on Kevin de Bruyne, said:
“Kevin de Bruyne is probably the closest thing you can get in world football to a perfect midfielder.”

Is Kevin De Bruyne one of the greatest midfielders?
The Belgian footballer made his professional football career debut with Genk in 2008. He was a star performer on the team, and slowly teams started to recognize his game. Later in 2012, Chelsea signed him, and this was one of the biggest moves of his career.
But due to a star-studded lineup, he warmed the bench and didn’t get many chances. As a result, he was loaned to two different clubs between 2012 to 2015. He represented Werder Bremen from 2012 to 2013 and VfL Wolfsburg from 2014 to 2015.
Later, he was transferred to Manchester City in 2015. At that time, no one knew the havoc he would create in football.
From 2015 to the present, he has made over 350 appearances and has been one of the best performers for the team. He has scored over 100 goals and provided 170 assists. He has completely defined the role of a midfielder and has led his team to multiple titles. Undoubtedly, De Bruyne is one of the greatest midfielders.
