The 19-year-old left-back, Alejandro Balde, signed a new deal with Barcelona until 2028. The Spanish footballer will be a Barca player for at least five more seasons.
Balde’s contract details are not yet revealed, but it includes a release clause valid for €1 billion. Yes, a one-billion-euro release clause.
He joined the Barcelona club in 2021 and was a part of the Barcelona B team for three seasons. Since 2021, he has started playing with the main team and has made over 40 appearances for them. Eventually, the left-back also managed to score a goal in his senior career.
The New Barcelona, under Xavi Coaching, has evolved pretty well. The team has picked one of the best from the transfer window and has groomed many young talents like Pedri, Gavi, Ferran Torres, and one of the upcoming stars, Lamine Yamal. Alejandro is also one of them, and in a few years he will be recognized as one of the best left-backs in La Liga.
