Ajit Agarkar, the veteran Indian bowler who has represented India in more than 200 international matches in all formats is currently a commentator. Fatima Ghadially, wife of Ajit Agarkar is an educationalist and co-founder of KA EduAssociates, a sports education initiative for kids. She completed her B.com degree from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, and MBA from University of Birmingham.
Ajit Agarkar met Fatima Ghadially for the first time in 2000 at Mumbai. Fatima was working as a management consultant for a private company in Mumbai, and Agarkar was just made his international cricket debut. The duo fell in love in a short span and they dated for 2 years. On 9th February 2002, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony which was held in Mumbai.
Fatima was born into a Muslim family and later married into a Marathi-Brahmin family. But the difference in their religious beliefs did not shadowed in their married life.
