5. Abhishek Sharma

Abhishek Sharma, the left-hand batter and slow left-arm orthodox bowler made an IPL debut at an age of 17 years and 251 days. He was picked by Delhi Daredevils in 2018. He didn’t get any opportunity for most of the season but when he got it, he announced himself with a blitz 19 ball 46 run innings. The confidence was oozing from his batting display. He will be part of SRH for IPL 2022.

4. Sarfaraz Khan

Sarfaraz Khan was very quickly accepted by every IPL fan thanks to his hitting abilities and cheeky shots. He even played some extraordinary shots off Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s bowling when Bhuvi was at its peak. He made his IPL debut at the age of 17 years and 177 days, making him the 4th youngest player of the IPL. Sarfaraz has been picked by Delhi Capitals for IPL 2022.

Riyan Parag is the 3rd youngest IPL player in the history of IPL. He was just 17 years and 152 days old at the time of his IPL debut. Riyan played some crucial knocks down the order. This wonder boy from Assam is an excellent fielder and we can say he was one of the finds of IPL 2019. He will continue his services with Rajasthan Royals for IPL 2022.

2. Mujeeb Ur Rahman

Mujeeb Ur Rahman, the magical spinner from Afghanistan followed the suit of his fellow countrymate Rashid Khan. Just like Rashid Khan did, Mujeeb also started picking wickets. For the first few matches, no batter from any team had any clue about what he was doing. The season was 2018 and when he made his debut for Punjab Kings, he was just 17 years and 11 days old. Sadly, he was not picked by any team in the Mega Auction of 2022.

1. Prayas Ray Barman

Prayas Ray Barman became the youngest player to play in the IPL when he made his debut wearing RCB’s red and black. The day was 31st March 2019 and he was just 16 years and 157 days. This leg spinner conceded just 6 runs in the first over, but then he was taken for plenty. In 4 overs he gave away 56 runs. The match was against SRH. This proved to be his last match of IPL. But he is just 19 years old and he has a lot more cricket and surely a lot more IPL success ahead of him.
