Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Captain – Nitish Rana
Nitish Rana is the captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders for the IPL 2024 season. Shreyas Iyer was previously the captain of the team and the third most expensive player in the IPL 2022 auction. He was bought by the KKR franchise for the IPL price of Rs.12.25 crores, but he is set to stay out of the 2024 IPL season due to a back injury. Rana has taken over his position as captain and is also the captain of the Delhi team. Rana has been with the KKR team since 2018, and the team has great expectations from him in the captaincy role.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Vice-Captain
The KKR team has not officially assigned a vice-captain, but some reports state that Andre Russel will assist Nitish Rana in leading the team. As the team’s top player, Shreyas Iyer is unable to play this season, the team’s future rests upon Rana as well as other players.
