BCCI will host some special guests during IPL Playoffs in Kolkata & Ahmedabad. According to reports, ICC chairman Greg Barclay with attend IPL Qualifier 1 in Ahmedabad. While CEO Geoff Allardice will arrive in Ahmedabad for IPL 2022 Finals. Besides this Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) & Asian Cricket Council (ACC) officials and Cricket Australia‘s Top Executives will attend IPL 2022 Final in Ahmedabad.
Meanwhile, on the sidelines of the IPL Finals, the big decision on Asia Cup will be taken. SLC officials will arrive to meet BCCI Sec Jay Shah during the finals. After the meeting, the final decision on whether the Asia Cup will be moving out of Sri Lanka will be taken.

There will also be a discussion about the upcoming IPL media rights between the ICC and the BCCI. The BCCI is in the process of selling its IPL media rights for the 2024-27 cycle. The current eight-year ICC and six-year BCCI media rights cycle will conclude in 2024.
The IPL 2022 season is nearing the business end of the tournament with finals happening on May 29.
