2nd ODI, New Zealand Tour of Australia 2022

The 2nd ODI between Australia and New Zealand of the 3 match ODI series will be played on 8th September. Australia managed to defeat the Kiwis in a low-scoring match in the 1st ODI. Batting first New Zealand never got going and they were not able accelerate. They ended up with 232 in their quota of 50 overs. Glenn Maxwell and Josh Hazlewood were the pick of the bowlers as they ended up with spells of 4/52 and 3/31 respectively.

New Zealand did start well with the ball as Trent Boult scalped 3 wickets upfront and Australia were reduced to 44-5. Following this Alex Carey and Cameron Green stood firm and batted for partnership of 158 runs, both scoring fifties. After Carey’s dismissal the Aussies did lose couple of wickets in quick succession but Cameron Green saw them through with his unbeaten knock of 89 handing Australia a win by 2 wickets.

New Zealand did bowl well upfront and would look to make a comeback in the remaining matches. In this article, we will provide AUS vs NZ Dream11 Prediction, Captain & Vice-Captain, Fantasy Cricket Tips, Head-to-head, Playing XI, Pitch Report, Weather, and other updates.
