It is time for another race in the calendar. The Canadian Grand Prix will start on Friday with pomp and excitement spreading over a weekend. All the drivers have reached the second most populous city in Canada. The Spaniard Fernando Alonso was spotted in a Montreal Canadiens Jersey.
Nick Suzuki gave away the Montreal Canadiens Jersey to the 40 year old veteran driver. He along with his teammates Josh Anderson and Cole Caufield also have the Spaniard a tour around the facility. They even took some snaps in the gymnasium.
Alonso have won the Canadian Grand Prix in his Championship Year of 2006. He also had a pole position in the race.
Montreal Canadiens
Montreal Canadians are a team that competes in the National Hockey League. J Ambrose o’ Brien formed the franchise on December 4, 1909. They are a part of the Original Six which made the NHL in the initial years.
The Canadians nicknamed the Habs have won 24 Stanley Cups in total. The first win came in the 1915-16 Stanley cup and their last one was 1992-93 season. Their most recent season saw them through to the finals. Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Habitants by 4-1in the finals
