You cannot really expect to win an NBA game when your first basket is scored when only 3 mins are left in the first quarter, Miami understood this in a blowout loss to the Celtics in game 5. The Boston Celtics were definitely looking like a more determined team from the tip-off led by their superstar Tatum who had a 30 point game bouncing back from a poor shooting night in game 3. Every player on the Heat roster struggled offensively and they were held to just 82 points in the same, 30 of which came in the 4th quarter but the game was pretty much over by then.

Celtics on the other hand, even without Marcus Smart, were sailing from the start and had an early 17 point lead which was never cut short by the Heat. White had an impressive game along with Horford who had 4 blocks in the game and kept the crowd on their feet.
Miami Heat just gave up on the game the first quarter itself, they were just not able to score, thanks to some good defence by Boston and some open missed jumpers by the heat player. The Heat’s defence has been bothering him since game 1 and Tucker has done an exceptional job defending the superstar which will be the case in Game 5 as well. The Celtics did a good job taking care of the basketball compared to game 4 where they had more than 20 turnovers something that they would like to carry to the next game as well. They will like to open the 1st quarter of game 5 with the same intensity as they did in game 4.
