Dallas Mavericks Vs Golden State Warriors Game-3, Match Report, Post Match Analysis, Highlights and Score, Best Performers, Lineups, Key Takeaways and Conclusion – NBA Conference Finals 22 May

It’s a very hard task for any team to come back from 3-0 deficit and win the conference finals tie to book a place in the championship finals, and the Mavericks will have a huge task in their hand to do the impossible which looks unlikely as the Warriors brushed them aside yet again in the high scoring hotly contested Game-3 and looks ever more determined to wrap the tie on a hurry.

The Warriors have dominated the tie in the last game and Game 3 was no different as their defense has managed to keep the Mavericks on the back seat despite the brilliance of Doncic and Brunson, who were simply sensational on the night. Despite the brilliance of Doncic, who managed to grab 40 points with 11 rebounds and also helped his team by providing 3 assists the Mavericks looked by far the second best.  His fellow teammate Jalen Brunson also gave his all in the match and notched 20 points with the Mavericks almost giving up the match after the third quarter of the match.

The match was pretty much equally matched for both the sides in the first 2 quarters when the score was 47-48 for the Warriors, but little did we know that the brilliance of Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson was coming so late. They came up with a scintillating reply to turn the match in the last two quarters of the match and finally win it 100-109 by a huge margin. Curry grabbed 31 points while Wiggins also supported him by netting 27 points to put the Warriors on a huge 3-0 lead in the tie.

Dallas Mavericks Match Report

Although the Mavericks were counted as one of the favorites to win the NBA this year, they have been left stunned by the performance of their opponent and it looks like an early exit for Jason Kidd’s side. Dwight Powell and Finney-Smith have been kept shut for 3 games in a row now in the tie and the only players going strong for the Mavericks’ are Luka Doncic and Jalen Brunson who have been running their best form but their teammates couldn’t provide the support they needed in the last quarters. Dwight Powell had a bad day in the business having to cope up against Curry and Wiggins who tore him apart and took the game away from the Mavericks.

Golden State Warriors Match Report

Steve Kerr’s men are in a gallant form at the moment and almost all of his players have scored in double digits per game this season. Although the Warriors were looking to end up on a defeat after the first two quarters performance, they managed to pick themselves up at the right time and stun the Mavericks. With the experience of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson in their squad, the Warriors were always the favorites going in into the match. But the majority of credit goes to Andrew Wiggins and the man in the back Kevon Looney who yet again kept the Mavericks forwards away from scoring and even supported the team with some vital points.

Best Performers

Luka Doncic:

Luka Doncic has been in a breathtaking form all season long and last night was no different as he notched up 40 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists which all went in vain as his teammates couldn’t provide him the support he needed.

Stephen Curry:

It is never a doubt to find the great Steph Curry in the scoresheet as he registered yet another classic performance producing 31 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists which ensured a great win for his team.

Andrew Wiggins:

Andrew Wiggins answered the prayers of his coach when the team needed him as he ensured a great position for his team netting 27 points with 11 rebounds and 3 assists.
