Game 4 was only a 5 point game with 3:05 to go in the 4th quarter but Miami failed to get over the hump and take the lead thanks to Harden’s crucial buckets. Eric Spoelstra needs to figure out a way to stop or at least slow down Joel Embid, his return has changed the dynamics of this series and what looked like a sweep after the first two games is now tied at 2 games apiece and we are heading back to Miami for game 5. Heat improved their shooting to 46% compared to game 3, however, their 3-point slump continues as they shot only 20% from downtown, some of which were open looks that just didn’t go in. This needs to change if they want to win game 3, especially with Harden and Philly lighting it out from behind the arc shooting nearly 50%. They need to make defensive adjustments as well on Embid because Adebayo is just too small against him.
