And the stats of 8 goals and 6 assists is considered poor for him, but in reality, it is still a decent score for a midfielder. Also, it is expected to see him in a more offensive role in the Portugal team.
Let’s not forget Bernardo Silva. His role changes a bit in City this season, seeing him on the bench more often. However, he is still a joker, a player that can easily turn everything around. He even scored against Real Madrid recently in a draw in CL.
Trossard as Belgian Leader
Arsenal is really full of gems this year. Leandro Trossard scored 8 goals and assists in the league, but we shouldn’t forget 4 goals in the Champions League as well as 2 more scored for his national team in the qualification stage.
The attack formation paired with Jeremy Doku from City surely won’t be easy to deal with.
And, of course, the whole team will be led by one of the best players in the world, Kevin de Bruyne.
He had a challenging season, being injured throughout most of it, but managed to show class right after recovery. Kevin reached 3 goals and 6 assists in only 12 games he played by now.
Rodri is the Best Spaniard
The interesting fact is there are no Spanish players as top forwards. That is rarely the case.
However, the spot for one of the best defensive mids is reserved for Rodri, not only in the PL but in the world at the moment. He scored seven goals and same number of assists.
Potential Surprises
This is about the team that might manage to surprise in the upcoming tournament. First of all, we have to mention Rasmus Hojlund. He is playing his first season at Manchester United and has scored seven league goals by now.
He is also quite young, 21 of age, meaning that this is a decent result. So, don’t be too surprised if you see him scoring a lot of goals on Euro.
When it comes to Scotland, McGinn from Aston Villa is having a season from dreams, with 4th place at the moment, and a great chance to keep it by the end. Paired with Scot McTominay, Scotland will have a strong and skillful midfield.
