The Canadian tennis player, Felix Auger Aliassime, successfully defended his Basel Open title. He defeated Holger Rune in the 2022 Basel Open finals to win his first Basel title, and now he defeats Hubert Hurkacz to defend his title successfully. After he was handed over the trophy, he felt emotional and said,
“This win is extra special, probably the most special so far in my career.”

This is Felix Auger Aliassime fifth ATP career title and his second Basel Open title. He currently stands 19th in the ATP singles ranking and will be heading to the Rolex Paris Masters on a high note. He is going to face Jan Lennard Struff in the round of 64 matches of the Masters tournament and would love to win the tournament.
